Looks like Go Cross conflicts with the Snowshoe World Cup again. That’s unfortunate.

Ummm, west coast?

Need a west coast event to include in the calendar before you can include a west coast event in the calendar. Right now, only race organizers in the midwest/east coast are willing to take on the risk of being a UCI event. This isn't up to USAC.

Makes sense

What doesn’t make sense is that there are no West Coast promoters willing and able to make this happen. Im still waiting for OBRA and USAC to kiss and make up... and then join forces. But I have been waiting for this for a really long time already. In my view there has always been an under current of anti-USAC thinking in CA where I live, and for no good reason. Perplexing. Meanwhile there is no regional cycling association picking up the slack, so now we pretty much have no racing scene beyond gravel races, which are great but not USAC. Rats. USAC for better or worse is all that we have got, kind of like our National Government. Well we can storm the palace and try to instigate change, or we can cast our votes and try to create change from within. Ill cast my vote. Went sideways with this analogy but its not far off the mark.

Also hope OBRA and USAC are friends again some day. As long as you live near Portland, OR, cross crusade is amazing (for amateurs at least) :)

Still working out the details. Most likely, closer to the beginning of the season.

For us West Coasters ( honestly it’s probably just me) with a penchant for visiting our nations capital to “race” CX and visit your great City, peacefully I might add, I lobby for a return of the Beltway Series on consecutive weekends. It doesn’t seem like that can happen this year cuz the dates before and after Charm City are already spoken for... but food for thought for next year! Thanks.
