Great shots as usual especially that downhill onto the cobbles at Namur which looks wicked - at least it wasn’t a mud slide as in years past. Great day for Sydney McGill and was nice to see Caleb’s name at least on the scroll during the race. Looking forward to the rest of the N. American contingent making some starts. From a photographers and viewers perspective having our US champs in UCI mandatory PanAms kit will make them hard to pick out. Maybe we could crowd fund to pay their fines if they go Stars and Bars? Seriously I still don’t get why any racers use 2x setups - so many dropped chains - whereas CX seems ideal for 1x.
Thanks, Neil! I fully support your crowd funding idea. I had a moment of panic at Namur when, after a few laps, I spotted a Pan Am kit. Luckily it was a Canadian rider that I didn’t need for a client, but they do have a way of slipping past sometimes. The Stars and Stripes on the other hand always jumps out at me.
