On the latest episode of Cyclocross Radio, the Media Pit discusses last weekend’s Middelkerke and Lille races before getting down to the serious business of choosing the All Cyclocross First Team. As a first-time endeavor, we had to set some ground rules, like how many people are on the all-cyclocross team (we decided it’s three), before debating our selections.
It's not clear whether there are separate or combined men's and women's teams (I'll assume separate ... and if this is all answered on the podcast, I'll get my answers when I'm able to listen). It's not clear if earning a spot on the team is based on talent alone or on the combination of talent and showing up at a lot of races (I'll assume the latter, which is why MvdP won't be on a team). It's not clear if substitutions to the teams can be made between races, between seasons, or ever (I'll assume that I'm choosing my teams for the next season).
Is it just me or have they called this the 3rd or 4th golden tubbies for 3 years now
