Is that correct the the first two are 4 days apart, starting on a Wednesday?

Sunday—>Wednesday—>Sunday. The Wednesday race is the calling card of Brook Watts (the Fayetteville race organizer). He was also the promoter for CrossVegas. And had races midweek between the Iowa City and Wisconsin world cups in the past.

While it’s great the UCI is giving us three rounds + Worlds in 2021-22, they seem a bit shaky in geography. Wisconsin then south to Arkansas then back north to Iowa....lots of travel there. But maybe that was a nod to promoters of long stand races to have weekend dates? Bring on the vaccines 💉 so this really happens!

Any guesses on where the mystery events are going to be held?

Belgium. (They have first refusal on first 8 dates, so it makes the most sense.)

You were right about that unholy Trinity of US races stacked up... Holy Road Trip, Clara! It means North Americans in the front rows of races all season, along with whomever can afford to come to them from Europe. (Does having to come back for Worlds help or hurt teams budget?)

We know the Trek Baloise squad will be here for all three World Cups. The Sauces always complain about traveling to the US but they are also series hunters, so I'm guess they will make the trip. The smaller teams may not. Especially with so many races to make up for missing the first three. We won't see Mathieu until Worlds. Hoping Ceylin makes it over for the US World Cups. Wout will still be road racing.

With 16 world cups, will most Europeans skip the 3 US events?
