Tales from the Road: Mathieu van der Poel and The Oakley Rep

In 2017, Mathieu van der Poel, despite all of his accomplishments in cyclocross, entered the mountainbike world as an unknown name. At the Nove Mesto World Cup that year, MvdP lined up at the back of the pack of 90+ riders, crashed spectacularly twice during the race, and still ended up in the top 10.
