Day one of the North Carolina Grand Prix, a two-day UCI C2 event in Hendersonville, North Carolina, took place today. NCGP is the final UCI event in the US before Cyclocross Nationals, which ends the domestic calendar.

Very interesting race pre nationals. You’d argue that the top US women riders were absent but huge kudos to the sheer class of Yolanda for racing and winning beating CM - maybe she wants to ride worlds and trade elbows with PFP. Great to see Kerry get the win but with Bruner and Curtis not there it’s what you’d expect - imagine they’re getting ready for Nationals.
