Nothing truly replaces streaming/video but hearing them speak does help. It's killing me not seeing the hole shots and getting a glimpse of the whole field.
Great write ups and in depth radio follow up. Here’s one fans observations and ramblings…
I had the opportunity to be there and race and watch and was most impressed. The venue, course and organization of the race were fantastic, super pro.
If the remnants of the hurricane had shown up as early predictions went, the course would have been all time fun. And difficult. Pigs in shit is an apt description for this old masters racer. I hate the dust, and love the mud for cross, but I live in CA where it never rains. So I try to come east once a year to take the waters, twas not to be this year though.
The youth movement is here. Stro is obvious, but Shelton and Owen and many others are right there. The latter two were the only top racers not jumping the barriers, and I know Marcis never runs, except during cross season at the race! Owen has the best pain face of the top riders, no contest. Stro reminds me of a young WVA or Pidders in that even while warming up, he can’t ride slowly. Always ripping around. His deviation from his professed plan to sit in on day one, and then attacking within minutes of the start, is further proof of that.
Werner loves cross and cross loves Werner!
Bill and his camera and his passion for our fringe sport. Thank you!
The camaraderie in the 60 plus field was heart warming. We are all in it while we still can be.
The 50’s masters field was ridiculously fast and deep.
So cool to see the youth racers smiling and roving the venue in packs. Oh to be young again. Nah, been there done that.😉
The USCX, support it, promote it and participate in it… we need you.
I know it's more work for you, but splicing in the rider interviews is great! Especially with no livestream, I love that you guys just tell us the story instead of assuming we know/watched
YES to rider interviews :)

Production quality is way up!4
I enjoyed the addition of the rider interviews. Good job
