My goal with the CXs and Os series is to keep the videos under 10 minutes. That’s not always easy for me to do. I’m sure you’re the same way. Once you start looking closely at a race, there’s more and more to see, and more and more to talk about. But 10 minutes seems like a nice sweet spot and I’m going to stick with it. That’s all to say that as boring as the cyclocross pits may seem to most of the world’s population, I could talk about them all day and, evidently, turn their mere existence into an existential dilemma.
For this episode, I went into some of the background of the pits, a quick look at bike exchanges and how placement in the pits may affect the race, and a look at the ever changing rules.
Give it a watch and let us know your take in the comments. If you have a feature that you think deserves the CXs and Os treatment, let us know that, too. Also, please share with your friends and help us grow the CXHAIRS Bulletin family.
Thanks for watching, cyclocross friends.
MOST EXCELLENT.
Another great breakdown. Am I mistaken or was that Sven Nys working the pit for Brand?
