2022 CXHairs Bulletin Fantasy CX Worlds Contest
Pick your winners, podiums, and prop bets in our Fantasy CX Worlds contest
All season long, you have been subjected to our opinions and prognostications both here at the Bulletin and on the Media Pit podcast. Now it’s your chance to show you know more than us with our 2022 Fantasy CX Worlds contest.
For this year’s contest, we settled on a mixture of picking winners, podiums, and some fun prop-bet-style propositions.
Before we get to the scoring, we also wanted to let everyone know that we will have a full Bulletin squad in Fayetteville—Zach, Bill, Bruce, Micheal, and Ethan—and all of our coverage will be for subscribers only.
You can sign up on a monthly basis for coverage of Worlds or subscribe for the full year and get Worlds plus all of our 2022/23 ‘cross coverage through this time next year.
Scoring for the Fantasy contest will per the rules below. It’s a bit convoluted, but we wanted to do something more interesting than just picking the top 5 and giving out points only if you pick the spots exactly correct. I am sure some readers will find it fun and some will find it silly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Elite Women/Elite Men (21 points each race)
3 Points for 1st
2 Points for 2nd
1 Point for 3rd
2 Points for each podium finisher correctly selected (so 12 points for a perfect podium)
2 Points for 4th
1 Point for 5th
2 Points for 16th Place (h/t to our friends at the Slow Ride Pod)
2 Points for Sanne/Sweeck Spot
2 Points for Time Gap
U23 Women/U23 Men (8 points total)
4 Points for picking winner of each race
If I did my math correct, everything should add up to 50 total points.
The contest is mostly for fun. Prizes will be a free lifetime subscription to the Bulletin if you are currently an annual subscriber and a one-year subscription for monthly or free subscribers. Maybe we’ll do an exclusive winner interview as well. IDK.
The entry form is linked below. Entries are due by Saturday morning when I wake up to attend the races.
you don't even have Cameron Mason as a choice for the Men U23??!!!
